We want to improve nursing education globally
Next Response
Our first response will be to bring the WHO Basic Emergency Care (BEC) training to South Kivu, DRC to improve emergency training and care in the region. We are inspired to teach nurses and doctors in Itombwe, Minembwe, Nundu, and Bukavu, the BEC. And create trainers in South Kivu to provide continual access to the course.
We are also planning a response to collaborate with Nixon Hospital in Kailahun, Sierra Leone to improve nursing education in the area.
Who We Are
We are nurses from the United States who have recognized the need to focus on nursing care globally. After years of working for other NGOs focusing on improving medical care, we have witnessed that this does not improve patient care. Nurses are critical to changing patient outcomes. Because of this, we are committed to training locals to enhance nursing care globally.
